This policy explains what Nationwide Tax Pro collects on this website, including its chat and its "call me" form, and what we do with it. If you become our client, the agreements and consent forms you sign with us also apply.
Who we are
Nationwide Tax Pro is a private tax preparation company and an authorized IRS e-file provider at 450 Fairway Dr Ste 107, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. You can reach us at (954) 900-9718 or [email protected]. We are not affiliated with the IRS or any government agency.
What we collect
- Chat messages. What you type in the chat. Please don't type Social Security, ID or bank numbers; numbers that look like those are removed automatically before your message is sent.
- Callback requests. Your first name, phone number, the best time to call, your time zone (from your browser, so we call at a good time for you), the language you chatted in, and the chat that led to the request.
- Ad details. If you arrived from an ad, the link may carry campaign tags (such as utm_campaign). We save them with a callback request so we know which ads work.
- Technical details. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. To enforce daily chat limits we keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for up to 7 days, never the address itself.
The chat is a virtual assistant
The chat is powered by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. Your messages are sent to Anthropic to write the replies, and to write a one-line summary for the tax pro who calls you back. The chat is not a person, and it doesn't give tax advice about your specific situation. A tax pro does that on the phone.
We don't save chats unless you ask us to call you. Until then, the conversation stays in your browser tab and is cleared when you close it.
How we use it
- To answer your questions in the chat.
- To call or text you back about your request.
- To understand which ads bring people who need help, using counts only.
- To keep the site safe and stop abuse.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We share it only with companies that help us run this site and respond to you:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site and stores callback requests.
- Anthropic, which powers the chat replies and summaries.
- Resend and Twilio, which deliver the email and text alerts that tell our office about your request.
We never give your chat messages, name or phone number to advertising platforms. If we use ad measurement tools, they only receive that something happened, such as "a callback was requested", without who you are.
Calls and texts
When you send the "call me" form, you agree that Nationwide Tax Pro may call or text you at that number about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep callback requests and their chat for up to 2 years, then delete them. If you become our client, our client record rules apply instead.
How we protect it
The site only uses encrypted connections. Callback requests can be seen only by our managers, who sign in to see them. No system is perfectly secure, so please never share Social Security, ID or bank numbers in the chat.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information from a callback request by calling (954) 900-9718 or emailing [email protected].
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
